"Sharena Fabrika" is located in one of the most beautiful areas in Bulgaria. The complex borders the Sopot Dam, the Toplya Cave, the Mikrenska Usoyna Nature Reserve and is in close proximity to the Central Balkan National Park. This offers unlimited opportunities for nature lovers - from hiking, running and cycling, to fishing, water sports and camping.
The "Sharena Fabrika" team, in partnership with local guides and enthusiasts, develops interesting mountain routes, destinations and activities that provide students and guests of the complex with the opportunity to immerse themselves in authentic nature and experience unique moments outside the classroom.
By exploring the Troyan region, we strive to show
students and our guests the richness of the local culture woven into
traditions, crafts and living customs. We believe that the authentic encounter with the heritage of the Central Balkans – from the mastery of the Trojan ceramics, through the spirituality of the monasteries, to the flavors of local cuisine – is an integral part of the overall culinary education.
This is an opportunity for students to build a deeper connection with the context in which they create, cook, and develop, because good food also carries its own history.
