In May, the team of the column "Stories of Maria Yotova" and the program "In Focus with Lora Krumova" visited the village of Golyama Zhelyazna. We met in front of the future International School of Culinary Arts, behind whose fence renovation activities were in full swing.
We talked about the first memory of the day we got lost in the village of Golyama Zhelyazna and accidentally popped up in front of the school, as well as the first ideas that inspired us. We showed the rooms that will become kitchens, classrooms, a restaurant and a cafe. We talked about our motivation, development plans, the team behind the project and what we dream of leaving behind. And to the question "How to save an abandoned school", we said "With people".
