The beginning, the jar, the lilac

On March 12, 2024. in the schoolyard in the village we gathered with the already expanded team of "Scarena Zadruga"to wish each other good luck. Each of us left words, thoughts and wishes in the jar that our master potter Rumen specially made. We brought a lilac and planted it with the hope that one day students, teachers and guests of the school will gather around its beautiful flowers. 

In a little over two years, the “Sharena Zadruga” team has grown significantly, and from the very beginning it has received the support of the village residents, local institutions and numerous volunteers. With gratitude to each of them, as well as the mayor of the village of Golyama Zhelyazna – Violeta Stoyanova, Mayor of Troyan – Donka Mihaylova and her team, we continue to work together to transform the village into a strategic center for culinary arts and traditional crafts.

Construction activities will be carried out in stages, with the first stage involving the reconstruction of the culinary school.

In this core part of the work, we will try to share everything important that is happening and that is coming up. And so on until the fall of 2025, when the first bell will ring. And we will gather again. Under the lilac.
