In 2020, we united around the idea and dream of creating an international culinary and crafts school in the fabulous Bulgarian village of Golyama Zhelyazna, located in the picturesque Troyan region and the Central Balkans. It was there that we opened the building of the primary school, which closed its doors back in 2005. With the mission to give new life to the school and to help develop and promote the region, we created the “Sharena Zadruga” association, through which we launched the initiative and popularized the idea.
Sharena Fabrika
"Sharena Fabrika" is an educational campus for culinary arts and crafts. Successful graduates of the culinary programs receive certificate from FERRANDI Paris and professional certificate qualification according to the European Qualifications Framework.
In parallel with its educational activities, "Sharena Fabrika" also develops retreat programs aimed at amateurs and professionals who are looking for a meaningful break through culinary experiences, craft workshops, nature walks and meetings with local producers.
The campus will operate year-round with a rich calendar of educational and cultural events.

"Sharena Fabrika" has the mission to revive the spirit of knowledge and preserve the rich cultural and culinary heritage of the Troyan region through the construction of a culinary and crafts school.
We strive to pass on traditional recipes, artisanal skills and local identity to new generations, combining tradition with modern education and international experience.

"Sharena Fabrika" has valuable partnerships that have supported the implementation of the project from the very beginning. We believe that good food connects people, just like good ideas. Therefore, we remain open to new collaborations with organizations, brands and professionals with whom we can develop culinary culture together.
